Berlin

In the "stinky" cat house.
Petting the fish.
The girls looking at the sharks.

All "fatigued" out after a long day! Ready for dinner and a movie in bed.
Brandenburg Gate

This past weekend we decided to go for a quick trip up to Berlin. We went to the zoo and aquarium, and the kids loved it. Samantha was not too thrilled with the smell in the cat house, and kept telling us that she couldn't take much more of the smell. I love how kids this age just speak their mind! After it started to get a little chilly outside, we moved into the aquarium. The girls really liked the fish pond at the front, and kept trying to pet the fish. Pretty sure we weren't supposed to be doing that, but no one told us otherwise! We didn't think the kids would hold up for the two hour bus tour around the city, so we just drove around and saw the sights on our own. We stayed the night at the Marriott hotel downtown, just down the street from the Brandenburg Gate. We ordered room service and a movie. The girls were excited to watch Hannah Montana, I'm not sure that Mike felt the same way! There is so much more that we wanted to see, we're hoping to go back again soon!
